Daniel Schwartz is Associate Professor at the Departments of Political Science and International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His publications include Aquinas on Friendship (OUP, 2007) and The Political Morality of the Late Scholastics: Civic Life, War, and Conscience (CUP, 2019) and non-historical papers contributing to present ethical debates. He is currently working on a project on the politics in Hell.
